Castaway Cay, Pelican Plunge and some sandy friends

I didn't even get as many pictures of our first few days as I should have. :(
Above: Heading back the boat, I had to have DS7 stop at one of our usual pose spots: Mt Rustmore!
Above:Flying Dutchman
Waiting for our hermit crab to race!

Some of our sandy friends!
We didn't find any tiny baby hermit crabs this time, we found ones that were alot bigger and more mature. They weren't like the huge ones they use in the races, but DS7 and DS17 still had fun collecting them in a sand pail

We eventually moved over from the empty family beach over to the Pelican plunge beach (the old teen beach area). It was nice to be in a new area this time, and we were glad we did because there were so many crabs to find there! We may have found a new spot to enjoy paradise in.

Below: Pelican Plunge, the new water slide that just had opened up a few weeks before our cruise. Adults and kids had a fun time on this!

Perfectly empty beach to the right (except DS17)
And to the left:

The empty wide open walk to the family beach . I've never had the whole way to myself before! :)
